Your assignment:  Create a children's story using only the 50 class words and your personal 7 words.  Stories should be appropriate for early readers and must be illustrated.  Books must be a minimum of 20 pages.  All pages must be illustrated.  Be sure that stories have some type of message, lesson, conflict, setting, etc, to which young children can relate.

                                                
Due Dates:

Friday, March 7th:  Book concepts ready. Be prepared to identify your books message/theme/concept.

Monday, March 17th:  Illustration concept ready. Be prepared to identify the layout of your story, match language to illustrations, identify medium for your illustrations, and discuss your plan for the artwork.

Friday, March 21st: Check in on drafts. Be prepared to show your draft and take part in peer editing.

Friday, March 28th:  Final drafts due.  Books must be completed and prepared for presentations.
